FAMILY—Muridae

COMMON NAME—Camiguin forest mouse.

DISTRIBUTION—Camiguin Island only (FMNH).

HABITAT—Primary montane forest from 1000 m to 1275 m (Heaney and Tabaranza, unpubl.).

STATUS—
Locally common and stable, but confined to a very small area that is threatened by deforestation (Heaney and Tabaranza, 1997).
