FAMILY—Muridae

COMMON NAME—Palanan shrew-mouse.

DISTRIBUTION—Known only from Mt. Cetaceo, Cagayan Province, Luzon (FMNH).

HABITAT—Mossy forest at 1650 m (Danielsen et al., 1994).

STATUS—
Unknown.

COMMENT ADDED IN 2002
Mistakenly identified by Heaney as Crunomys fallax in Danielsen et al. (1994). This species was described as Archboldomys musseri (Rickart et al., 1999).
