ORDER—RODENTIA
FAMILY—Muridae

COMMON NAME—Panay bushy-tailed cloud rat, Panay cloud runner.

DISTRIBUTION—Panay only (Gonzales and Kennedy, 1996; Oliver et al., 1993a).

HABITAT—Lowland primary and secondary forest to about 400 m (Gonzales and Kennedy, 1996; Oliver et al., 1993).

STATUS—Severely impacted by habitat destruction on Panay; highly endangered (Gonzales and Kennedy, 1996; Oliver et al., 1993a). IUCN: Endangered.
