COMMON NAME—Palawan
pygmy tree mouse.
DISTRIBUTION—Known
only from Palawan and Calauit Islands, Palawan Faunal Region (Musser &
Newcomb, 1983).
HABITAT—Unknown.
STATUS—Unknown.
COMMENT
ADDED IN 2002—Specimens of this mouse from Palawan have been referred
by Musser and Carleton (1993) to H. pusillus, which also occurs
on Borneo.
