ORDER—CHIROPTERA
FAMILY—Molossidae

COMMON NAME—mastiff-bat.

DISTRIBUTION—
Specimens have been taken in Balbalasang, Kalinga Province, Luzon (Heaney et al., 2005) and Kitanglad Range, Bukidnon Province, Mindanao (Heaney et al., submitted).

HABITAT—
Taken in small grove of pine trees surrounded by mature montane forest at 1600 m in Kalinga Province (Heaney et al., 2005) and in residual montane forest at 1450 m in the Kitanglad Range (Heaney et al., submitted).

COMMENTS—
It is uncertain what species these specimens represent; theri taxonomy is currently under study (J. Egers, pers. comm.).
