ORDER—CHIROPTERA
FAMILY—Rhinolophidae

COMMON NAME—Small rufous horseshoe bat.

DISTRIBUTION—
Philippines only; specimens from Camiguin (DMNH), Catanduanes (USNM), Luzon [Abra (FMNH), Camarines Sur (USNM), Isabela (FMNH), Laguna (FMNH), Pampanga (USNM),
Rizal (BMNH), Sorsogon (FMNH) provinces], Mindanao [Davao del Sur (USNM)
, and South Cotabato (AMNH) provinces], Mindoro (FMNH).


HABITAT—
Poorly known. Recorded from near sea level to over 1000 m, with some records from caves.

STATUS—
Unknown. IUCN:Vulnerable. We believe this listing to be premature, given the current lack of knowledge.
