HABITAT Primary
montane and mossy forest from 1125 m to 1750 m (Balete & Heaney, in
press; Heaney et al., in press; Rickart et al., 1991).
STATUSStable,
but geographically restricted (Musser and Freeman, 1981) and threatened
by logging. IUCN:Vulnerable.
NOTE ADDED IN 2005--Mt. Isarog National Park is not currently threatened by logging, so threat to this species has declined (Balete, pers. comm.).
