A T. Rex Named Sue
International Tour Specifications

Sue is the star attraction of Dinosaur Expo 2005: The Evolution of Theropods from Dinosaurs to Birds , an 11,000 ft2 (1,000 m2) exhibition that opens at the National Science Museum in Tokyo on March 18, 2005 and will travel to Nagoya, Osaka, and Kitakyushu through April 2006. Organized by Asahi Shimbun, a well-known Japanese media company with a tradition of bringing overseas exhibitions to Japan, Dinosaur Expo marks the first international presentation of a cast of Sue. The Expo is expected to draw 1 million visitors in Japan.

The Expo features less than half of The Field Museum’s full traveling exhibition A T. rex Named Sue and visitors to Japan will see just four of the interactives and two of the videos included in the U.S. version of the exhibition.

The Field Museum is seeking interest from venues and tour organizers in Asia and in other parts of the world who would like to present the full version of A T. rex Named Sue , which contains many family-friendly interactives, as well as several audio-visual elements.

Please contact the Traveling Exhibitions Marketing Manager to inquire about hosting the exhibition internationally.
