Abbott Sponsor Statement

Like The Field Museum, Abbott has been part of Chicago's heritage for more than a century. During that time, we've worked together on several occasions to further advance education and understanding of our world, most recently with our support for The Ancient Americas exhibition. Now, we're beginning a significant new partnership with the Museum to advance conservation and sustainability – key areas of focus for both Abbott and The Field Museum. The new Abbott Hall of Conservation Restoring Earth exhibition will help bring to life the science of conservation, and the practical aspects of how scientists are working around the world to protect and preserve our natural world.

This exhibition is a strong reflection of our shared interest in advancing science – The Field Museum is focused on translating scientific discovery into conservation action; at Abbott, we focus on translating science into lasting contributions to health. As a company dedicated to health, we also recognize the paramount importance of a healthy, sustainable natural environment. Safeguarding the environment is a top priority, across our global business. This work, and our partnership with The Field Museum, demonstrates our commitment to sustainability – of our environment and resources, our company, and of Chicago and our broader global community.

Through Restoring Earth, Abbott is proud to once again support The Field Museum, and to have our name associated with one of the city's leading cultural and educational institutions. We hope this exciting exhibition will inspire Chicagoans and visitors alike to explore, understand and protect our precious natural environment.
