In this page we intend to put different website addresses of institutions/organizations/individuals that contain some useful information about the project site or related activities to what we are doing in the project. We do not repeat links with institutions under "Collaborative Institutions." The following is a quick list of institutions/organizations, which we believe might be useful:

The University of Dar es Salaam
The oldest university in the county. This website contains information mainly about training of the student for various degrees

Eastern Arc Mountains resource website
This is a useful webpage concerning information about the Eastern Arc Mountains.

The Critical Ecosystem Partnership Fund
The Critical Ecosystem Partnership Fund provides grants for nongovernmental groups and private sector partners to help protect Earth's biodiversity hotspots. It is a joint initiative of Conservation International, l'Agence Francaise de Developpement, the Global Environment Facility, the government of Japan, the John D. and Catherine T. MacArthur Foundation, and the World Bank.

Sokoine University of Agriculture and Nature Conservation
The Sokoine University of Agriculture web site contains information about teaching, research and extension mainly on disciplines of Agriculture, forestry, veterinary medicine, Food science, Meteorology, Environmental science, Nature conservation and related fields.

Centre for Ecology Law and Policy, York University
This is a Centre for Ecology Law and Policy web site that links departments of environment, Politics and Social Policy. It provides information mainly on research on the environment and how society and environment interact. The tree guide to most East African trees is also hosted at this site.

York Institute for Tropical Ecosystem Dynamics (KITE)
KITE is a Marie-Curie funded Excellence Centre that explores the relationship between ecosystem dynamics, climate change, and human impacts in Africa.

Missouri Botanical Garden
Its mission is to conserve and restore the rare native plants of the United States, but has research emphasis elsewhere globally, and one of the best Eastern Arc plants collections outside of Africa.

Tropical Biology Association
This organization conducts hands-on field courses, trains students in applied science and conservation, and much more in Africa.

World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF)
A non-governmental organization committed to conserving biodiversity globally.  WWF-Tanzania works in partnership with TFCG in vegetation restoration of the East Usambara Mountains as well as other Eastern Arc Mountains.

The Tanzania Forest Research Institute
Tanzania Forestry Research Institute provides information on sustainable methods for conservation of natural forests, establish databases on natural forests, agro-forestry, biodiversity and disseminate to various interested and users.

Tanzania National Parks
This web site is hosted by TANAPA and provides useful information on how to secure breeding grounds where fauna and flora can thrive, safe from the conflicting interests of a growing human population. TANAPA is also raising the status of traditional migration areas as well as teaching communities sustainable environmental management and tree planting.
