Learn about the cultures of the ancient Americas by investigating pottery forms, patterns, materials, and uses. Then complete an excavation to uncover

potsherds, and use your knowledge to determine the place, time, and culture from which they may have come. This program is available at the Museum or at your school. Programs at the Museum include a guided visit to the Ancient Americas exhibition. This program is offered for grades 5-8 only.
