Calendar of Events
During our Year of Biodiversity and Conservation, you can to talk face-to-face with Field Museum scientists involved in conservation research around the world. Through show-and-tell sessions, lectures, and roundtable discussions, youll learn how these men and women shed light on the global status of biodiversity and aid the worlds most threatened habitats and species.
In addition, several new temporary exhibitions explore some of the most fragile ecosystems on Earth, including the mysterious island of Madagascar. And our new All Things Living Gallery Tour gives you a fresh look at biodiversity and conservation issues addressed in our permanent exhibitions.

Youre also invited to take our special Behind-the-Scenes Tours of the Field Museums collections and participate in fun-filled family workshops and other educational events. You can even join scientific illustrators and artists as they sketch plant and animal specimens throughout the Museum!
