This just in: while it has nothing to do with natural history, it does have something to do with history, and with a teacher who is married to someone who works here at the Museum who will remain nameless.

Thanks so much for expressing interest in the History Fair. I hope you'll be able to join us on Thursday, March 21. There is more detailed information. Please, please, please feel more than free to forward this e-mail on to your colleagues and friends!
Dear Ancona Faculty and Staff Members,
Ancona is participating in the Chicago Metro Education History Fair for
the ninth time this year! Middle school teachers Bill Singerman and Janet
Musich are currently seeking individuals to serve as judges for the Ancona
History Fair on Thursday, March 21.
The judges' responsibility is to evaluate projects, and ultimately select
which projects advance to the regional History Fair. Judges typically
volunteers for two hour shifts during either the morning, mid-day, or
afternoon. Previous Ancona students who have participated in the citywide
Fair have earned honorable mentions in the regional competition and gone
on to the Illinois State History Fair!
Requirements: The desire to learn more about Chicago history and speak
with our middle school students about their learning experiences. (One
need not be an expert in Chicago history to volunteer.)
Time slots available:
8:20 - 10:20
10:20 - 12:20
12:50 - 2:50
Please contact Bill Singerman directly for more information on
volunteering at firstname.lastname@example.org.
