Insects can be found almost anywhere at almost anytime: under a log, along a stream bed, in your garbage, or in your house. Collecting insects is easy, just look around! Most people collect insects with a net or by hand, but there are many kinds of traps for collecting lots of insects, including pitfall and malaise traps. BugCampers are involved in a project to explore insect diversity at Ryerson Woods.
