During the past year, we've had over 100 conversations with organizations throughout the region. We've identified five common concerns that connect environmental and sociocultural issues:
New Allies builds on these common concerns by recognizing that the well-being of people and the earth are interrelated.
Through collaboration we can create a sustainable Chicago region that values its natural heritage and prioritizes a better quality of life for all...
Together, we will change the map of the future.

The Civic Knowledge Project
Network and share information with other organizations in the Chicago region interested in connecting nature and culture – through Partnering for a Sustainable Chicago
Partnering for a Sustainable Chicago is an environmental and social action network facilitated by the Civic Knowledge Project at the University of Chicago—a New Allies participant. New Allies uses CPK's listhost, website, and blog as the primary mode for continuing our conversations about connecting environmental and sociocultural issues in the Chicago region. Anyone can post a message by sending an email to:
sust-partners@listhost.uchicago.edu.
