Association for the Wolf Lake Initiative
This association is a bi-state working consortium of groups from communities around the lake, individual users of the lake, educators, researchers and academics. It seeks to improve Wolf Lake and its surrounds by treating the lake as one lake shared by Illinois and Indiana.

Lake Calumet Ecosystem Partnership
A coalition of individuals and groups interested in the natural resources in the Lake Calumet area. Includes private landowners, business people, natural scientists, recreation enthusiasts, local policy makers, and others. The Lake Calumet Ecosystem Partnership is responsible for providing technical and financial support for maintaining and enhancing ecological and economic conditions in the area.

This is a neighborhood organization in the historic Pullman district focused on community issues including historical preservation and environmental concerns of the Pullman community.
