• The fusion of Southeast Asian and African cultural elements in the exceptionally beautiful textiles of Madagascar. Drawing on the Linton Collection (see Collections), Museum anthropologists are preparing an extensive study of these textiles as a cornerstone of historical, archaeological, and environmental research on the cultural links among Madagascar, Asia, and the African continent.
