I nterpretive Stations
Visit dynamic hands-on stations, located throughout the Museum, where facilitators invite visitors to touch objects and take part in interactive learning experiences. Interpretive Stations provide different hands-on experiences for families to delve further into China’s natural and cultural history. Look for the following featured stations or check the daily activities sheet on the informational directories located throughout the Museum for specific times and locations.

Story Time
Join us in the Mammals of Asia exhibition for a free 20-minute program for young children and their families. Hear a story, sing songs, and make an art project to take home! Story themes vary from season to season. Please check the daily activities sheet on the informational directories located throughout the Museum for the day’s featured story. At least one adult for every three children is recommended.
Featured stories during the Splendors of Chinas Forbidden City: The Glorious Reign of Emperor Qianlong exhibition (March 12 through September 12, 2004) include the following:
