Dozens of "rhinos" share a single ancestor
To scientists, every animal called "rhinoceros" shares a common
ancestor that lived over 55 million years ago.
Some ancient members of the rhinoceros family were much smaller
than living rhinos. Some were much larger. But most of them didn't
even have horns!
These are five animals that scientists call "rhinoceros."
