Camera Photo-documentation of the specimens collected is essential to the BivAToL project, especially for bivalves whose identity might be uncertain. Together with voucher specimens deposited in museum collections, these photos assure that positive identification can be applied to every bivalve we dissect and sequence for their genetic characteristics. photo © P.
