Mitla Fortress The Mitla Fortress is one of three hilltop terrace communities at which Linda and Gary have conducted intensive terrace-by-terrace surveys. Most terraces at all three sites are thought to have been residential in function. The flat top of the fortress is ringed by a massive stone wall.
