Hericium erinaceus
Hericium erinaceus is the showiest of the tooth fungi. Rather than having its spores formed on gills or in tubes, tooth fungi bear their spores on the outside of long teeth. Fruitbodies of Hericium are almost entirely made up of these long teeth.
