Cordillera Pine Forest Mouse
Apomys abrae
The Philippines have few large mammals, but over sixty species of native “rats and mice,” which fall into two groups that make their home in mossy forests.
The first group includes tiny, mouse-like creatures, such as this adorable little mouse, which tend to live on the ground and eat mostly earthworms.
