Hunting for Cretaceous Dinosaurs in Wyoming This expedition will be focusing on surveying Cretaceous rocks in search of dinosaur fossils. It will yield important clues as to the timing of the incursion of Asian dinosaurs into North America and the diversity and changes in the North American dinosaur fauna through the Cretaceous period. The team will be looking at exposures in detail and conducting small digs of less than one square meter. Discoveries from this expedition will form the basis of a more expansive excavation-based field season in the future.
