Martinis and Membership at Martini Park
The Field Associates invite those interested in becoming members to this fun social event where you can network with current members and staff from The Field and learn more about The Field Associates!
Thursday, August 7
Gallery owner and loyal Field Museum supporter Joel Oppenheimer will speak to us about natural history as art while members enjoy a cocktail reception surrounded by Audubon, botanical, and other nature-inspired prints at Oppenheimer Gallery on Michigan Avenue.
Sunday, September 28
The Field Associates spend an afternoon teaming up to compete in the group’s annual Scavenger Hunt, complete with prizes.
Wednesday, October 22
Field Associates will enjoy a private viewing of Nature Unleashed – an exciting new exhibition about natural disasters - along with a presentation by Anthropology Curator John Terrell and exhibitions content developer Erica Kelly.
Tuesday December 2 and Thursday December 4
Field Associates members get in the holiday spirit by volunteering at the Women’s Board’s annual Children’s Holiday Celebration on Thursday or gathering at a member’s home two days earlier to enjoy wine, casual dinner and baking or decorating cookies which we donate for the Celebration.
