Plan a Group Visit

With tour groups in mind, The Field Museum is pleased to announce several itinerary concepts that revolve around this exhibition.

In addition to showcasing this world premiere special exhibition, The Field Museum’s Hall of Jades will be reopened after extensive renovation to better display its stunning collection of jade. Many museums have large holdings in only one or two areas, but the Field possesses strong collections from all periods of Chinese jade history, from the prehistoric to the early 20th century. While art museum jade exhibitions focus on jade’s aesthetic beauty and craftsmanship, The Field Museum lends a natural history perspective to its hall, relating artifacts to the times and cultures from which they originate.
