Splendors of China's Forbidden City
Planning Your Visit

How to Get Tickets

Admission to Splendors of China's Forbidden City requires a timed-entry ticket that specifies a 30-minute window for entering the exhibition. Once you have entered the exhibition, you may stay as long as you like.

Admission to each specially ticketed exhibition is $7 and may be purchased with General Admission as part of a discount combination ticket, or individually at the entrances to the exhibitions.

Save money when you add on another specially ticketed exhibition at the same time that you purchase your Splendors of China's Forbidden City ticket. If you decide to see another ticketed exhibition, such as Underground Adventure, after entering the Museum, tickets will be the full price.

Chicago Resident Discounts
In recognition of the support they provide to the Museum through local property taxes, Chicago residents receive a discount on General Admission. Proof of residency is required. See Chicago resident prices.
