Meet Jim & Jason Ebel, Founders of Two Brothers Brewing Company and Cleetus Friedman, Executive Chef of Fountainhead and The Bar on Buena and learn about the collaboration between 2 Brothers, Cleetus and The Field Museum in creating the Museum's brand new to-be-announced beer.
See drinking and storage beer vessels from around the world, such as from Peru and Mexico from 1 AD - all from our unseen collections at The Field Museum. Our own, Jim Phillips, Curator of Anthropology will be on hand to discuss the whys and hows of so many different cups, tankards, bowls, pots, flagon (what's a flagon anyway? Come find out!), answer questions and pull out other surprises from our behind-the-scene collections.
Taste the Museum's fabulous brand new collab beer, a prohibition style lager and hear about what drove the process to have this beer created for The Field Museum. We will be unveiling our new collaborative beer at Hop To It at The Field for the first time. The Field Bistro will also be offering some tastings of food pairings with your lager! Ticket includes: 2 pints of The Field Museum's new beer and complimentary food pairings. Additionally, guests will be given a pint glass featuring the new beer to take home. Win the chance to attend the private beer launch event on the Northeast Terrace at The Field Museum immediately following Hop To It at The Field. Event is from 8:00-11:00pm. All net proceeds benefit The Field Museum directly.
