Reflections on 9/11
At first, I had no thoughts of terrorism or war, only that an air traffic controller or a pilot had made areally bad mistake. When it dawned on me that this was a planned attack, that was when the fear hit.
The attack on the World Trade Center towers introduced me to the word ""terrorist"". As a 7th grader, I didn't realize the dangers that we (the human race) are all constantly subjected to. It opened my eyes with worry.
didn't know where my family was. many of them worked in manhattan.
The granite slab seemed to hold so much emotion- fear, loss and sadness.
It was the display of the writing in the dust, especially the one that read, "Come Steve & Tommy."
