Suggested Itineraries may include:
“A Gem of A Day”
A personalized, docent led tour of Jacqueline Kennedy: The White House Years for a behind the scenes perspective followed by a viewing of the Grainger Hall of Gems. Don’t miss our renovated Hall of Jades.

“Private Viewing”
After the Museum closes, enjoy a private reception and exhibition viewing before heading to the theater or other evening events.

In collaboration with our colleagues at Marshall Field’s, we are pleased to preview several travel concepts that revolve around Jacqueline Kennedy’s influence on American women’s style, fashion, and entertaining.

Group Themed Itineraries featuring The Field Museum and Marshall Field’s:
Holiday Homes
Offered November 15, 2004 to December 31, 2004
Celebrate a Chicago holiday tradition with the Marshall Field’s State Street window decorations. Combine your visit to the exhibition with a tour of Marshall Field’s including the Trim-A-Home shop and the Walnut Room’s Great Tree dressed in 1,200 ornaments and 25,000 lights. Add a holiday meal in the Walnut Room for the full holiday experience.

Tea Traditions
Offered January 1, 2005 to May 1, 2005
Treat your group to tea in the historic Walnut Room – a setting fit for a first lady and the perfect accompaniment to the exhibition. Include a visit to the Whittard Teas of Chelsea and take home some of the same tea served in the Walnut Room and enjoyed by the British Royal Family.
Rose Garden Rendezvous
Offered Janurary 1, 2005 to May 1, 2005
Presented in cooperation with Chicago Botanic Garden.
Celebrate Jacqueline Kennedy’s love of style, beauty and culture by combining your visit to the exhibition with a trip to Marshall Field’s for a rose gardening presentation by a Chicago Botanic Garden rosarian. Visit the Sean Conway Garden Shop to stock up on gardening accessories you’ll need for your garden.
