Enjoy our New Terrace
The Sue Discovery Dig inaugurates The Field’s new southeast terrace. The terrace, which was closed for construction for several years, has reopened as an exciting new venue for outdoor Museum activities and family summer fun.
With beautiful new landscaping and views of Lake Michigan, easy access to two Museum entrances, and a multitude of dig activitiesthe southeast terrace is the place to be this summer!
Admission
Tickets to the Sue Discovery Dig include Museum admission and are priced at $19 for adults, $14 for seniors and students with ID, $9 for children 4-11 years old. Or purchase them along with tickets to Dinosaur Dynasty for just an additional $3 for adults, seniors, and students, $2 for children 4-11. Discounts are available for Chicago residents. The Field Museum is located at 1400 S. Lake Shore Drive, on CTA bus lines #6, #12, and #146, and close to other routes and the Metra electric and South Shore lines.
