The Field Museum Hosts DINO BEE
The Museum will host an array of other activities on March 19, including Sue School, which will give kids the opportunity to learn about Sue first-hand from Museum paleontologist Jim Holstein. A dinosaur play by the Foundation Theater Group will feature Tex the T. rex and his paleontologist guide Dr. Jonas as they try to discover what Tyrannosaurus rex was able to do with its tiny arms. Hands-on activities will allow kids to see and touch a real fossil, make dinosaur rubbings and masks, and put together a 3-D foam Triceratops and a map of dinosaur hot spots in Asia. Additionally, three 10-foot-tall dinosaur puppets will roam the halls and greet visitors.
