 Planning a Field Trip
Plan a field trip to Mythic Creatures and try out classroom and field trip activities from the Educator Guide, take part in student programs, and check out accompanying Harris Educational Loan Materials for an in-depth exploration of Mythic Creatures!
Pre-registration is required for students to visit this new exhibition. Field trips to Mythic Creatures are FREE for Chicago schools with pre-registration, $4 for Illinois schools outside of Chicago with pre-registration, and $12.50 for schools outside of Illinois.

Come explore the new Mythic Creatures exhibition during a free teacher preview! Trace the natural history and cultural roots of some of the world's most enduring mythological creatures at The Field Museum. During the evening, you'll hear from a Field Museum scientist, view Mythic Creatures, and participate in hands-on activities that directly link the exhibition to your classroom curriculum. Earn 3 CPDUs.
