Learning Through Collections Professional Development Series

About this recurring event

Join us for our professional development workshops promoting inquiry and hands-on learning through the use of real artifacts and specimens in the classroom!

Workshops are available on select Saturdays through the academic year, 9:30am–noon. All educators—formal (K-12) or informal—are welcome and attendance is free with registration.   


To register, email with the subject line "PD Registration."  Please provide the following information for yourself and any colleagues who will join you: name, email address, school or organization name, subject(s) you teach, and preferred workshop(s).

We offer 2.5 Professional Development Clock Hours for your participation in each workshop.  

Free parking is available. Space is limited, first-come, first served. Attendees are also welcome to park in the Soldier Field North Garage ($25).
