Third project expedition: AUSTRALIA
Overview
The austral staphylinid PEET team had a successful 6-week expedition (July 17 - September 15), the third of four planned trips to the southern hemisphere to collect and study southern temperate, or austral, Staphylinidae (rove beetles).

We thank the Western Australia Department of Conservation and Land Management (CALM) for permission to enter and collect in numerous WA National Parks and also the CALM Walpole office for the opportunity to examine some local collections and the Queensland Environmental Protection Agency/Queensland Parks and Wildlife Service (QEPA/QPWS) for permission to enter and collect in numerous Queensland National Parks and State Forests.
