First project expedition: CHILE
Overview

The austral staphylinid PEET team had a very successful 5-week expedition (25 November – 31 December 2002), the first of four planned trips to the southern hemisphere to collect and study southern temperate, or austral, Staphylinidae (rove beetles).

Before and during our trip, we received full cooperation and various kinds of help from the personnel of CONAF (Corporación Nacional Forestal), allowing and facilitating our work in several of Chile's national parks, reserves, and monuments. Without this help, the expedition would not have been possible.  Muchas gracias a todos por su ayuda.
