ORDER—RODENTIA
FAMILY—Muridae

COMMON NAME—Dinagat hairy-tailed cloud rat.

DISTRIBUTION—
Known only from a single specimen from Dinagat Island (Musser et al., 1985; Oliver et al., 1993a).

HABITAT—
Poorly known; apparently from lowland forest.

STATUS—
Unknown; geographically restricted. This species is probably badly affected by deforestation (Oliver et al., 1993a). IUCN: Endangered.
