only. Specimens are from Bohol (USNM), Catanduanes (FMNH), Dinagat (DMNH),
Luzon [Benguet (AMNH), Camarines Sur (USNM), Laguna (AMNH), Pampanga (USNM),
and Tarlac (USNM) provinces], Maripipi (USNM), Mindanao [Bukidnon (FMNH),
and South Cotabato (AMNH) provinces], Negros (USNM), Siquijor (SU).
HABITATLocally
common to uncommon in primary and disturbed forest up to 850 m (Heaney,
et al., in press; Lepiten, 1995; Rickart et al., 1993). Several records
of specimens taken in caves, one in a mine shaft, one in a dark cavity
in a tree buttress (Heaney et al., 1991; Taylor, 1934), and one in a hollow
tree (Sanborn, 1952).
STATUSWidespread,
but dependent on forest and perhaps on caves.
