Vespertilionidae (Vesper and Evening bats)

Twenty-two species of vespertilionids, including the recently-recorded Harpiocephalus harpia (Rickart et al., 1993), are now known from the Philippines. The appearance of a representative species is shown here. Only one species, Myotis rufopictus, is considered to be endemic.
