Art Activities

Crunch, Crunch, Munch!
Animals that eat meat are called carnivores. They have sharp and pointy teeth. Animals that eat plants are called herbivores. They have rough and flat teeth. Animals that have both kinds of teeth are called omnivores. They like to eat meat and plants. What do you like to eat?

Ask an adult to help you with this project before you get started. You will need:
1 paper plate
Scissors
Art supplies for decorating

Fold a paper plate in half and, with the help of an adult, cut zigzags, bumps or both along the rounded edge of the paper plate to make teeth. Bend the teeth so they are ready to bite down. Decorate the outside of your plate with crayons and markers. Draw meat or plants inside of your animal's mouth to crunch and munch! Will you be a carnivore, an herbivore, or an omnivore?
