Audio Tour

Hear what happens when nature unleashes its volcanic power.  Experience the human drama of Pompeii.  Take the audio tour! This audio tour reveals what life was like for the people of Pompeii and surrounding areas at the time of the eruption.  You will hear:
	Anthropologists explain the significance, meaning, and stories of the objects you see.
	Compelling stories of the artisans, farmers, and elite who perished under rock and ash.
	Music and sound effects that bring the experience to life.
	The audio tour player uses digital, MP3 technology to deliver a random access program. You can listen to the commentaries that interest you. Go in any order you want, at your own pace!  Listen to as much or as little as you wish.
	The player is as easy to use as a telephone or remote control.  Each object on the tour is assigned a number that you simply enter into the player to hear the commentary.
