| Tripod temple censer of earthenware covered with lead-based glazes fired at a low temperature. Such ceramics were produced at several kiln centers in northern China and are now highly regarded by art historians and collectors even though very different from the delicate porcelains one usually associates with China. Late Ming Period (1368-1643).
