| The Museum's Pacific holdings include works of art, clothing, tools, weapons, and other contemporary objects from Melanesia (New Guinea, the Bismarck Archipelago, New Britain, New Ireland, the Admiralty Islands, the Solomon Islands, Vanuatu, and New Caledonia) and Micronesia. Many of these pieces are on exhibit in Traveling the Pacific and Pacific Spirits.
