Multiple short courses and lectures on Introductory Mycology and mushroom hunting for the Field Museum, the Illinois Mycological Society, the Illinois Chapter of the Nature Conservancy, the Asheville Mycological Club, and the North American Mycological Association.

Graduate Teaching Assistantships at Virginia Tech included rotations in Introductory Mycology , Plant Systematics, General Microbiology Lab, and General Biology Lab. My student teaching evaluations at VPI were consistently over 3.7 on a 4 pt. scale.

Invited lecturer on molecular biology for Introductory Biology classes (for majors and nonmajors), Spring, 1995 (by Dr. Mary Lipscomb, course instructor).
