Information about lichen specimens collected or studied in the frame of the TICOLICHEN Costa Rican Lichen Biodiversity Inventory is available through several different databases. Data on more than 20,000 specimens collected during the three TICOLICHEN field trips are stored in a flat EXCEL spreadsheet and have also been migrated to The Field Museum's new common ground KE EMu database. This database is searchable online. Data on Costa Rican fungi and lichens can be directly accessed through the Costa Rican Fungi search page. We are currently assembling miscellaneous information on tropical lichen type specimens (protologues, images, chemistry) in a separate NEOLIT database, which will eventually become available through The Field Museum's KE EMu database and as flat spreadsheet download. The KE EMu database will also hold all information on additional specimens of Costa Rican lichens studied during this project.
For specimens collected by INBio staff related to the aforementioned projects, search INBio's ATTA website database on specimens, or check out their individual species pages (UBI: Unidades Básicas de Información = Basic Information Units).
