New problems need new solutions.
People throughout the Chicago region are working towards sustainability by integrating social and environmental concerns in unexpected ways.
New Allies for Nature and Culture aims to help organizations and policymakers throughout the Chicago metropolitan area develop an integrated approach to social change that links environmental and social issues. The project was inspired by The Field Museum’s Ancient Americas exhibition, which reveals the range of experiences and innovative approaches our predecessors used to meet everyday needs and adapt to changing environments.
