Matthew Haworth Graduate Student, Department of Earth Sciences, University of Oxford, UK.  Matthew is a third year graduate student at the University of Oxford, co-supervised by Steve Hesselbo and Jennifer McElwain. His research focuses on using fossil plants to reconstruct changes in atmospheric carbon dioxide concentrations throughout the Mesozoic (the age of dinosaurs). Matthew will be using fossil plants collected in Greenland to examine how carbon dioxide levels changed across the Triassic-Jurassic boundary. |
