Hanabusaya asiatica

Carpinus caroliniana

Education:
Ph.D., Biology (Plant Systematics), Kangwon National University, Chuncheon, Korea (S.), 1995.
M.S., Biology (Biology), Kangwon National University, Chuncheon, Korea (S.), 1989.

Research Interests:

My research interests focus on systematics and phylogeny of higher plants, especially Campanulaceae and Betulaceae.

Current Research:

My current research project includes circumscription of the Carpinus and its allied groups based on morphology and molecular data. These studies are supported by Postdoctoral Fellowship Program of Korea Science and Engineering Foundation (KOSEF) Grant for the 1999/2001 academic year that was awarded to me.
