Plant and fungal bio-diversity, symbiosis and coevolution, ecological theory and community ecology, hierarchical scale in ecology and evolution, and community assembly processes.

Current Research:

PATTERNS AND PROCESSES OF DIVERSITY IN THE GLOMEROMYCOTA:

Assessing patterns of diversity and composition in symbiotic arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi (Glomeromycota) across scales, their correlation to plant and soil characteristics, and the community assembly processes underlying these patterns.
