BugCamp 1999

In 1999, BugCamp expanded even more to include students from all over Chicago, not just The Ancona School. The class was still small enough to tailor the subject matter to individual interests. 1999 marked the second year of the two year survey of insect diversity at Ryerson Woods. Additional funding from The Nancy Ryerson Ranney Leadership Grants Program as well as invaluable assistance from Ron Salmela, Amy Varsek, Jane Zimmerman, Matt Dean, and Allyson Meyer made this web site possible. Besides information about BugCamp, the site also contains the database of the Diptera collection that Bug Camp students have been compiling for four years.
